About Tommy and Wild Honey
After five years away from the studio, country artist Tommy Atkins returns with a reimagined version of his debut album, Truth Be Told...
Set for re-release in September 2026, the album features new recordings Wild Honey and There Ain’t Enough, completing the story Atkins first began telling in 2021.
Between 2019 and 2021, Atkins released a string of top 5 singles and country radio hits., Most notably, Kiss Me, Cowboy earned CMA playlist support, additions by over 400 radio stations including SiriusXM, #1 chart placements in the UK, Canada and New Zealand, and was recognised in the BBC Music documentary, Deep Dive into Queer Country. Atkins has released duets with Rissi Palmer and John Hollier and the Reverie.
The re-release sets the stage for a companion “prequel” album arriving later this autumn, called The Summer of 2016. Together, the projects reconnect listeners with the songwriting, sound and spirit that shaped Atkins' early career.
2027 will be a new chapter for one of UK country’s distinctive voices, as Atkins begins the rollout of his sophomore album.
