There Ain't Enough
Written by Tommy Atkins and Kevin McAleer

Isn’t there anywhere in this town

I can go without you strutting in?

The second we locked eyes, well, I rolled mine

But you didn’t take the hint

Shouting over the bar band

Pouring out your heart

And spilling your two-for-one drinks

Saying that you miss me

Leaning in to kiss me

But, sweetie, here’s the thing…

There ain’t enough whiskey in Tennessee

For you to be coming home with me

Ain’t enough beer brewed in Milwaukee

For me to forget how you made me feel

There ain’t enough Cuervo down in Mexico

To make me regret that I let you go

If you think I’m good and drunk and you’re getting some

Honey, there ain’t enough

I’ll admit, there were times in the past

When the booze and your blues had me dickmatized

But I’m done being kicked to the curb

And calling a cab for a ride of shame

Hell, I learned my lesson

And I count my blessings

Every time that I hear your name

Now I respect myself

Only drink top shelf

And you’re the bottom of the barrel, babe

There ain’t enough whiskey in Tennessee

For you to be coming home with me

Ain’t enough beer brewed in Milwaukee

For me to forget how you made me feel

There ain’t enough Cuervo down in Mexico

To make me regret that I let you go

If you think I’m good and drunk and you’re getting some

Honey, there ain’t enough

But every now and then I’m lonely late at night

And I’m looking round the room at closing time

Then I see you underneath the neon lights

But nothing’s gonna make me wanna take you back or change my mind

No!

There ain’t enough whiskey in Tennessee

For you to be coming home with me

Ain’t enough beer brewed in Milwaukee

For me to forget how you made me feel

There ain’t enough Cuervo down in Mexico

To make me regret that I let you go

If you think I’m good and drunk and you’re getting some

Honey, there ain’t enough…

Whiskey in Tennessee

For you to be coming home with me

Ain’t enough beer brewed in Milwaukee

For me to forget how you made me feel

There ain’t enough Cuervo down in Mexico

To make me regret that I let you go

If you think I’m good and drunk and you’re getting some

Honey, there ain’t enough
